Celebrate Earth Day In North Fork

NORTH FORK — The community of North Fork will celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, Apr. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Fork Elementary School.

“Come to the exact center of California to learn how to keep our planet healthy,” say organizers. “This will be a time to socialize, network and learn from various exhibitors.”

Eco products, recycling techniques, rummage sale booths and educational information will be part of the fun-packed day. Local artists will participate, and guests can indulge in delicious food and baked goods while listening to live music. Local bands will play throughout the day.Conservation groups and the North Fork Rancheria Environmental Protection Department will be on site, along with a raffle and numerous activities for kids.

Earth Day in North Fork is sponsored by the Foundation for Resource Conservation and the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians of California.
