MADERA — On May 10, 2022, at 11:35 a.m., there was a hit and run traffic crash resulting in one fatality on Avenue 9, just west of State Route 99 in Madera County. The California Highway Patrol Madera Area is seeking public assistance with the ongoing investigation into the identity of the driver of the 2005 – 2010 Volkswagen Jetta and a possible Honda Odyssey or Chrysler Pacifica.
