AHWAHNEE – The 1st Open Mic Night at The Hitching Post last Saturday was a huge success and a real showcase of local talent.
Performances ranged from several original songs written and performed, original poetry, performances on acoustic and electric guitar and an amazing young man who was self-taught on acoustic and electric.
There was also a stellar performance by the local rock band Amorata. To see these musicians perform was truly amazing.
Performances start at 9 p.m. Saturday nights and are on a first come first serve basis. Performers under 21 need to have an adult chaperone.
If you want to be seen and heard, or just have an enjoyable evening reviewing our local talent, the Hitching Post is the place to be!
