North Fork Rancheria Dedicates New Housing Services Building

NORTH FORK — The public is invited to attend the grand opening ceremony of the new North Fork Rancheria Housing Services Building on Friday, Aug. 25, at 1 p.m.

The new facility is located at 57907 Old Mill Site Court in North Fork. Lunch will be provided.

The Housing Services Building was made possible through a 2014 Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Matching funds for the project were provided from the North Fork Mono Tribe’s HUD Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG).

The 3,553 square foot facility is located on a 4.09-acre parcel at the North Fork Mill Site. It with be utilized by the North Fork Rancheria Indian Housing Authority (NFRIHA), and is intended to improve accessibility to services for tenants and applicants, and provide adequate space and storage for administrative and construction functions.

NFRIHA has relocated from the Tribal Government Office located at 33143 Road 222 in North Fork.
