The Oak Room and Yosemite Rivers Fly Fishing shop are sponsoring a BBQ/Pot Luck for first responders and displaced Mariposa residents on Sunday.
Organizers are seeking signs reading “Mariposa fire evacuees, fire crews and first responders — free lunch one mile north,” and also wants to recruit people to wave signs on Highway 41 and 49 pointing to the BBQ.
Anyone who wants to contribute a dish, drinks or any items or who can make or shake signs will be helpful. Contact organizers at the Oak Room and Yosemite Rivers for more information.
