OAKHURST — Yosemite High School seniors Chris Ward and Sage Crosswhite are organizing this year’s Badger Baseball Alumni Game for their senior project. It’s on Sunday,Oct. 14 starting at 3 p.m. at Yosemite High School.
They’ve pulled together a terrific roster of players, ordered t-shirts, and even held a bake sale to help offset expenses for the cause.
“I think we’ll have a good turnout for the game,” says Chris. Both players are grateful for the help they’ve had with the bake sale, and getting ready for the game.
As of now, the line-up for Sunday’s game includes Jarrett Barone, Austen Burgeno, Ryan Collings, Corey Conley, Brad Crouch (coach), Chris Day, Steven Dugovich, Sam Duvall, Harley Glines, Jackson Glines, Cody Goodwin, Luke Howell, Michael Lagow, Ted Lilly, Becher Marr, Drew Marr, Tyler McIntyre, Mark McMaster, Sam Mendez, Corey Miller, Tim Miller, Brian Mullarkey, Evan Prater, Chris Reiche, Scott Rold, Shaun Spurgeon, and Garrett Yoder.
Concessions will be open during the game and all proceeds will go back into the program with the hope of purchasing a new sound board. The community is invited to attend and the game is free.
