Two Madera County Vote Centers Open Saturday

Madera and Oakhurst Vote Centers Will Be Open For 11 Days In A Row

MADERA — Two Madera County Vote Centers will open Saturday morning offering voters the opportunity to vote in person, turn in vote by mail ballots or get assistance voting. Both the Madera Central Vote Center in the County Government Center and the Oakhurst Vote Center at the Oakhurst Community Center will open their doors Saturday, May 28th at 8:00am.

“We know that many voters who have voted by mail in the past want to vote in person this time and we are prepared to help them do that,” explained County Registrar Rebecca Martinez.  “I encourage those who want to vote in person to vote as soon as possible.  Our first two Vote Centers are open for 11 days in a row including weekends.”

In addition to the two vote centers that open on May 28th, six more vote centers will open on June 4th and will be open for four days in a row including the weekend.

Those vote centers are in Chowchilla, Madera Ranchos, Coarsegold and three more are located in the City of Madera at the Pan American Center, the Superintendent of Schools Office and the newest is located at the Madera District Fairgrounds in the Van Alen Room.
