Mountain Area Free Toy Giveaway

COARSEGOLD — Mitchell Riegelhuth and Lori Brown of  G’ma and Pappas Biker Apparel and Accessories, in cooperation with the American Bikers Association, are playing elves this year and gathering donations from generous businesses and individuals, all in order to purchase toys for local kids in one big holiday giveaway.

On Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m., anyone with children in need who live in the foothills is invited to stop by G’ma and Pappas in the historic Coarsegold Village and pick up a Christmas gift for each child.

“As long as we have toys, your child will get a toy,” says Mitchell, explaining the planned giveaway is independent and thanks to the kindness of his customers and business donors.

So come on over, we will have a line-up to choose from.”

Toys purchased with donated funds will be set up on a picnic table between the shop and Zander’s. Rumor has it that Santa Claus himself will be there. Parents will need identification to show they live in one of the mountain communities in the local foothills.

Sponsors of this event include Walt Bannon Drilling (Chris and Bobbie), Budget Towing, Universal Solutions, Isla Vista Farm Management, Spaidier, Inc., Bill Sajhatjain, Silva Ford, Rick Drayer, Bill and Becky Brown, Debbie Terry, The Glass Shack, Oakhurst Door (Marcus and Kim),  Choppers (Tim), Yosemite Falls Lumber (James), Don and Cheryl Farnisi, Best Deal Tire and Wheel (Mark), Zentra Cheves, Kory and Andrea Mullins, Carolie from the Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce, Ryan Lee Roofing, and more. Mitchell says they are grateful for everyone’s support.

If any toys remain following the event, Mitchell and Lori will take the extras to Valley Children’s Hospital for donation.
