O’Neals—Minarets High School is proud to announce the hiring of Head Varsity Baseball Coach Jesse Darrah. Coach Darrah returns to Minarets Baseball after a brief hiatus of 3 years.
He took the Mustangs to the Valley Championship finals two years in a row in the 2018-2019 and the 2020-2021 seasons. His record for seasons 2017 through 2021 was 71-25 bringing serious credibility to the Minarets Baseball program.
Under his leadership he saw several players continue to D1 schools and scholarships, and countless others to Junior College programs.
A Fowler High School stand-out, he went on to success pitching at Fresno Pacific University, was soon drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks, and pitched several seasons for the Rawhides in Visalia.
From there he chose a career in education and had baseball on his mind. 
Coach Darrah is a well-respected Head Coach with deep roots in the Fresno and Mountain Community. He is 34 years old and resides in Fresno.
