Spend a day on the beautiful Sierra Vista Scenic Byway and learn from an expert on the “Wildflowers of Mountain Meadows” tour.

On Saturday, July 11, Sierra National Forest Botanist Joanna Clines, will lead a driving tour along the Byway starting at 9 a.m. and returning to North Fork by 3 or 4 p.m. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The meeting spot for the tour will be at the Bass Lake Ranger District Office at 57003 Road 225, on the road behind the Pizza Factory, at 9 a.m.

Mountain Meadows Wildlife TourThis will be a driving tour with a bit of walking to and within meadows between 6,000 and ,7000′ elevation, with no strenuous hiking. Participants will be visiting a few places within the French Fire to discuss fire ecology and see some post-fire flowers.
