OAKHURST — Celebrate Earth Day well by doing good at Oakhurst Community Park, as friends and neighbors gather on Sunday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for a Park Cleanup and BBQ.
The event is organized by the Oakhurst Community Park Committee who suggest participants bring their own gloves and wear comfy clothes. The cleanup will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, and then volunteers will enjoy a free BBQ, rock painting, a reading of The Lorax, written by Dr. Seuss, and musical entertainment.
