MARIPOSA — Don’t miss the most elaborately themed and decorated event of the year — Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) 5th annual “Night of the Child” Gala is Saturday, Oct. 1, from 5 to 10 p.m., at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds in Building A.
This year’s event is sure to impress. All of the Mariposa Reads The Secret Garden events have lead up to this one event. Local artists and artisans have spent months preparing to transform the venue into a labyrinthine of landscape excellence.
Local residents, landscape designers and artist Rick Stalder and Lynn Galloway have dedicated their personal and professional expertise to making this event look like none other.
While delighting in the incredible scenery, entertainment and no host bar, guests will enjoy a dinner of grilled and delicious tender cuts of quality meats, cooked to perfection and paired with tasty side dishes. A mouthwatering vegetarian option will also be available.
We are also pleased to have incredible silent auction items including 49er tickets, a Mariposa County Sheriff ride-along, Chukchansi hotel and dinner packages, amusement park passes, Pier 39 Family 4-pack including Bay Cruise and Adventure, large handmade furniture, handmade quilts, Gourmet Gift Baskets and so much more.

All proceeds from the event benefit Mariposa County abused and neglected children in Mariposa County.
