Mountain Area Home Sales For First Half Of 2019

MOUNTAIN AREA — During the first half of 2019, members of the Fresno Realtors Association Multiple Listing Services primarily in the Yosemite Gateway Branch sold 266 mountain area homes (single family residential properties), compared to 285 sold in the same period of time last year.

Boundaries for the mountain area include Oakhurst, Ahwahnee, Coarsegold, North Fork, Wishon, Bass Lake, Wawona, Fish Camp, Yosemite West, O’Neals, and parts of Mariposa County.

The median purchase price was $315,000, up 2 percent from last year’s $310,000.

The average time on the market was 95 days and the average purchase price was 97 percent of asking price. The average home size was 1,901 square feet and the average price per square foot was $184.64.

Total dollar volume was $98,647,756, compared to last year’s 101,767,480.
