How Many Homes Were Sold? Mountain Area Housing Report

In 2018, members of the of Fresno Realtors Association Multiple Listing Services in the Yosemite Gateway Branch sold 554 mountain area homes (single family residential properties), compared to 639 in 2017, at a median price of $304,950, up 13 percent from $280,000 in 2017.

Boundaries for the mountain area include Oakhurst, Ahwahnee, Coarsegold, North Fork, Wishon, Bass Lake, Wawona, Fish Camp, Yosemite West, O’Neals, and parts of Mariposa County.

Average time on the market was 94 days, and the average purchase price was 97 percent of asking price. The average home size was 1,895 square feet, and average price per square foot was $176.90.

At year’s end there were 5 distressed sale listings (short sale and bank owned), or 2 percent of the 245 total active listings.
