Yosemite Skiing Opens with More Snow on the Way

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK–Badger Pass, the oldest ski resort in California and one of only 3 ski resorts in a National Park, began full operations on Friday, January 12th, 2024.  Did you know that The Badger Pass Ski Lodge was constructed in 1935 as the first alpine ski resort in the state of California?

Operations available at Badger Pass currently include the Nordic Center – Open at 8:30am for rentals and lessons. For Alpine – Lift Tickets, Food & Beverage, Rental, and Retail open at 8:30am with the lifts starting at 9am. More information is available here. Also, Snow Tubing will remain closed until there is more snow.
