Celebrating 39 years supporting the arts in Yosemite and the California Sierra Nevada

Yosemite Renaissance 39 Art Exhibit Opens

OAKHURSTYosemite Renaissance 39 showcases works inspired by Yosemite National Park and the California Sierra Nevada region, by artists from across the country. For over 150 years, artists have played an important role in the establishment of our state and national parks. They encourage people to visit iconic natural sites, and to protect our parks, wild lands and natural resources. Yosemite Renaissance is dedicated to this ideal. The exhibit celebrates the beauty and wonder of nature, explores environmental issues, ecology, history, current events, spiritual and cultural themes.

The artist’s reception is Saturday, March 23rd from 5 to 8 pm. Mingle with the artists, listen to live music by Terry Robinson, enjoy delectable hors d’oeuvres and beverages, and see the presentation of awards – all while admiring the beautiful artistic interpretations of Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada by this year’s Yosemite Renaissance artists.
