YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK–Yosemite National Park officials have announced they will close two well-known roads in the park due to the possibility of snow in the area from a developing winter storm. Tioga Road (continuation of Highway 120 through the park) and Glacier Point Road will temporarily close on Friday, November 1, at 6 pm due to a forecast of snow.
Additionally, chains may be required at any time. Vehicle code devices, including chains or cables, must be carried in or upon vehicles entering a signed and designated chain control zone. This includes all 4-wheel and all-wheel drive vehicles.
