BASS LAKE — The Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce will present a Women in Business luncheon tomorrow at Ducey’s Bar & Grill to discuss wildfire preparation. This luncheon will feature Ashley Nebeker Burns of the Eastern Madera County Fire Safe Council as guest speaker.

About the Eastern Madera County Fire Safe Council
The EMCFSC’s goal is to generate programs that increase our community’s wildfire resilience, whether that be by education, larger scale community projects funded by grants, and programs to help individual homeowners. They are not currently funded as of July 2022, but as a non-profit, they will be seeking out grant funding to implement impactful action for our community. Their goal is to help create a safer EMC for all at risk from the dangers of wildfire.
