Vote by Mail Ballot & Information Guide Mail Notification

MADERA COUNTYCounty Clerk-Recorder & Registrar of Voters Rebecca Martinez announced today that all registered voters in the County of Madera have been sent their Official Ballots and County Voter Information Guides for the upcoming March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election in the mail.

Ballots have been mailed to voters beginning February 5th. Allow 2-5 days for delivery.

Ballot tracking is now available and it’s FREE! Ballot tracking is a service that will send you notice about your ballot including when it’s mailed, received, and counted. Know where your ballot is every step of the way! Go to www.wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov to sign up.

You will no longer have to place a stamp on your ballot envelope to return your ballot through the US Mail – We’ve got it covered! Voted ballots may also be returned at any Official County Ballot Drop Box or at any Vote Center in Madera County. It is highly recommended that you do not hand over your ballot to a stranger. If you decide not to mail or drop off your ballot personally, only give your ballot to someone you trust.

The back pages of your County Voter Information Guide show the Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center locations, dates, and hours of operation. AVOID LONG LINES, VOTE BEFORE ELECTION DAY. Our Mobile Vote Center will also be out to serve you in multiple locations before Election Day. See the insert with your ballot for more information!

For this election, voted ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received within seven (7) days after the Election to be considered timely.
