Upcoming Town Hall Meeting to Discuss Community Recreation

OAKHURST — You may have heard that there will be town hall style event on February 9th, to discuss “Recreation: Understanding Community Recreation in Eastern Madera.” We urge you all to make time to come to the Oakhurst Community Center for this important meeting. See map below.

Date & Time: Thursday, February 9, at 5:30 p.m.

Bring friends and fully understand what is happening and how it is operating within our community. Our biggest community issue is the lack of comprehension for how things work and how to connect with them.

The event planners are hoping to bring you even more community speakers than are listed on the flyer and look forward to sharing as many recreation facilities and organizations with the community.

Do you ever ask these questions about community recreation?
  • Who owns it?
  • Who pays for repairs?
  • How can it be upgraded or updated?
  • How can I learn about events in advance?
  • Who puts on the events there?
  • Who do I contact to rent it?

Come out and lean about all the community facilities in our district, how they operate and get all your questions answered.
