Two Nights Of Music On The Green In Mariposa

MARIPOSA — Modern day troubadour Nathan Ignacio will perform for Music on the Green on Friday, July 12. Nathan is a one-man traveling road show band and a talented multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter. He graced the Strawberry Music Festival main stage at the most recent festival and is one of the most active performers on the central California music scene.

On Saturday, July 13, Music on the Green will host The Three To Get. Led by singer/songwriter Tim McCaffrey of Twain Harte, formerly of The Little Fuller Band, the band melds genres producing a California rock and roll sound. Local Mariposan Alec La Roche plays upright bass and experienced drummer Kevin Burkling fills out the rhythm section.

All performances begin at 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park, located on Hwy. 140, between 4th and 5th Streets, in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Free parking on 5th Street along the Creek Walkway to the Park, also providing handicapped access.

Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.

The Mariposa County Arts Council, Inc. is an incorporated not-for-profit organization, created to promote and support all forms of the cultural arts, for all ages, throughout Mariposa County.
