MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled an additional lane closure this week on State Routes 49 and 140.
Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Allred Road to Varain Road for tree work from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022.
- One-way traffic control from Allred Road to Varain Road for utility work from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
- One-way traffic control from near Bear Valley Road to Pendola Garden Road for utility work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
- Both shoulders will be closed from Bear Valley Road to Route 120 South for paving beginning Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at Bear Valley Road for drainage cleaning/inspection from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Midpines Summit to Cobey Lane for utility work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
- One-way traffic control from South Incline Road to Foresta Road for utility work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction-related issues.
