MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES — Thanksgiving is around the corner, and restaurants across the Oakhurst area are gearing up to serve festive feasts.  Here’s a straightforward guide to Thanksgiving dining options, offering something for every preference, from upscale dinners to family-style meals and convenient deliveries.

Thanksgiving Dinner Delivery

To begin, Sierra Celebrations LLC will deliver Thanksgiving dinners directly to your table.  Options include a traditional turkey or ham feast, a combination feast, and a choice of apple or pumpkin pies.  Each dinner serves 5-10 guests, and deliveries occur on the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Additionally, the Oakhurst Sierra Rotary Club and the Sierra Senior Center will offer a free Thanksgiving luncheon for members and their families.  The meal is open to all members and includes an optional donation.

Likewise, Mountain Oaks Café will offer individual Thanksgiving meals from November 26th through November 28th, along with a Thanksgiving family meal available for pickup on Thanksgiving Day.  The family meal includes sliced turkey breast, dinner rolls, soup or salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a slice of pumpkin pie for each guest.  Homemade pies including pumpkin, mixed berry, and apple are also available for pre-order.

Moreover, Idle Hour will host a family-style Thanksgiving dinner on November 27th, featuring roasted turkey breast or ham with traditional sides and house-made pumpkin pie.  Thanksgiving family meals to-go are also available for pickup on Wednesday.

Furthermore, the Narrow Gauge Inn will serve a traditional Thanksgiving menu, including roasted turkey porchetta, maple-glazed ham, lavender-whipped potatoes, and pumpkin tartlets. Both dine-in and pickup options are available.

The Elderberry House Thanksgiving

Next, The Elderberry House will present an elegant tasting menu for Thanksgiving, featuring dishes such as roast turkey consommé, beet salad, seared scallops, slow-cooked turkey, and pumpkin crèmeux.  The restaurant requires a 72-hour cancellation notice for all reservations.

On the other hand, Vintage Steakhouse will offer a three-course Thanksgiving meal, including a choice of roasted pear salad or butternut squash bisque, Mary’s natural turkey with classic sides, and homemade pumpkin pie.

In addition, this Thanksgiving dinner special includes a choice of butternut squash soup or a harvest blend salad with cranberries, tomatoes, red onion, and candied walnuts.  The main course features a roasted turkey breast with mashed potatoes, candied yams, traditional stuffing, and seasoned greens with cherry tomatoes and almonds.  Dessert options included a pumpkin lava cake with a marshmallow center or traditional pumpkin pie.
