State Route 41 Paving Project to Begin in Madera County

MADERA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Garcia Paving, announces the paving project of a small portion of State Route 41 in Madera County.

The following will occur:

    Work will be going on at night, so please be extra careful!

    Crews will be paving roughly 1200 feet of both northbound and southbound lanes, on State Route 41, just south of State Route 145.

  • Crews will also be paving a portion of the intersection of State Route 41 and State Route 145.
  • The project is scheduled to last 15 working days and is set to begin on Thursday, October 20.
  • Work is scheduled to happen overnight from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

    Traffic control will be in place and motorists can expect delays up to ten minutes.

Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones.

Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
