MADERA, CA – Out of respect for the funeral services honoring the fallen officer in Chowchilla, the Madera County Economic Development Commission (EDC) has made the decision to postpone the State of the County event that was scheduled for October 16th.
In a public post on Facebook, the commission made the announcement and said “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the officer’s family, colleagues, and the entire community during this difficult time.”
A new date for the State of the County will be announced soon.
