MOUNTAIN COMMUNITIES–The California Highway Patrol is reporting several traffic hazards and collisions associated with the snow that is moving through our areas this morning. There are also some school delays. Please use caution on the roads today and stay safe!

Madera County
Several vehicles are stuck on the side of the road on Hwy 49 near Thunderhead.
Mariposa County
There are traffic hazards being reported on Darrah Road near Triangle Road and on Harris Road. They are vehicles sliding out in the snow.
SCHOOL DELAYS
MARIPOSA COUNTY
All Mariposa County Unified School District schools are on a 2 hour delay.
Sierra Foothill Charter School is on a 2 hour delay.
Madera County [YUSD] Good Morning: There will be a one-hour delay for the YHS Buses only and no bus pickup for the Bass Lake area in the morning only (buses can drop off in the afternoon if students can make it in). Classes will begin on time – regular schedule. [YUSD] We apologize for the inconvenience, there will be an additional hour delay for Bus Route 5 for stops off of Roads 426 and 49 only.
