CALIFORNIA — The Sierra National Forest (SNF) invites the public to provide input for the 2026 California Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Grants and Cooperative Agreements Program application cycle. Importantly, this initiative aims to gather ideas and feedback from community members, organizations, and stakeholders to guide the development of grant proposals for the 2025 submission cycle, covering projects planned for the 2026 calendar year.
How to Submit Feedback
Beginning Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, written comments may be submitted through Friday, February 21st, 2025. Feedback can be sent to:
Sierra National Forest
Attn: Kevin Woods
1600 Tollhouse Road, Clovis, CA 93611
Email: Kevin.Woods@usda.gov
Notably, public input will play a vital role in shaping preliminary and final grant applications. To review and comment on drafted application proposals, visit the SNF’s website, here.
Public Meetings
To further engage the public, the SNF will host a combined in-person and virtual open house via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, offering two opportunities to participate:
- Public Meeting: 5:00-5:30 p.m.
- Stakeholders’ Meeting: 5:45-6:30 p.m.
Discussions during the pubic meeting will focus on OHV-related topics, while the stakeholder meeting will address broader interests, such as concerns from landowners adjacent to OHV trials.
