NORTH FORK — The American Red Cross, Central California Region is hosting a Recovery Event for community members impacted by the #ForkFire.
The event will take place tomorrow Wednesday, September 14th from 10 am to 2 pm at the North Fork Rancheria Community Center, 56900 Kunugib Way, North Fork, CA. 93643
Red Cross caseworkers will be onsite to assist individuals with recovery plans and will be providing wildfire clean-up kits, food boxes, water, pet supplies, disaster health services to help replace medications or eyeglasses, and more.
All are welcome to attend and no appointment is necessary to attend.

The Fork Fire burned nearly 1000 acres. The fire started on September 7, 2022 , near the intersection of Roads 200 and 222 in North Fork. Peace Officers with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit (MMU) have determined the Fork Fire was vehicle-caused.
Damage inspections are 100% complete. Fire personnel and utility crews continue to mitigate hazards so please use caution when driving in the area.
