MADERA, CA — The 13th Annual Madera Pomegranate, Fruit and Nut Festival kicks off at the Madera District Fairgrounds. With free admission and parking, the family-friendly event will bring Madera’s agricultural roots to life. Therefore, it will offer an array of activities, live performances, and local flavors that aim to capture the community’s rich history.
Celebrating Local Products & Heritage
Firstly, this year, the festival will feature over 100 vendors. Each will showcase artisanal crafts and locally produced goods.
Debi Bray exclaimed, “We are thrilled to honor Madera’s agricultural roots while showcasing local products, live music, and mouth-watering cuisine.”
Bray continues, “November is National Pomegranate Month, making it the perfect time to celebrate the pomegranate’s rich legacy in our community. We can’t wait for Miranda Rae Mayo to join us for this unforgettable day!”
Moreover, Miranda Rae Mayo is a star on NBC‘s, “Chicago Fire.” The actress will provide fans with a chance to meet her, take photos, and collect autographs during the event.
Food, Drink, & Entertainment Lineup
Additionally, for food enthusiasts, the festival offers a variety of pomegranate-inspired dishes and treats from local vendors. Meanwhile, San Joaquin Winery‘s owner, Cindy Shaffer, will serve pomegranate wine and refreshing spritzers. Also, Dan Riley of Riley’s Brewing will present beer pairings that complement dishes from local vendors. Therefore, adding another layer of local flavor to the event.
Likewise, throughout the day, entertainment will fill the fairgrounds. The performances start with Madera High School and Middle School Mariachis at 10:00 a.m. Later, the African Drum Interactive will bring lively rhythms to the stage at noon, infusing cultural diversity into the day’s event. Also, the band Jaded will follow, playing a set from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. that promises to keep the crowd energized. Not to mention, Madera’s Got Talent will take the spotlight at 11:00 a.m., offering a platform for local performers to showcase their skills.
