American Legion Post 110 is honoring the five branches of the U.S. Military with a Henry Golden Boy “Military Service” Tribute Edition Rifle. The rifle will be raffled off during the Patriot Day celebration on Sept. 11 in Oakhurst.
Five stars, which represent the seals of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and the Coast Guard are laser-etched into the stock.
This rifle is a .22 caliber, lever action, repeating rifle with a 16-round capacity, and is valued at $1200.
Tickets for the raffle are $5, and can be purchased from any post member or at the Sportsman’s Den located at 40032 Highway 49 in Oakhurst. Funds from the drawing will be used to help various veterans organizations.
American Legion Post 110 will be hosting a Tri-tip BBQ lunch starting at 10 a.m. in the parking lot at Sierra Tel offices at 49150 Road 426 in Oakhurst.
