MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-140 (SR-140).
State Route 140
• One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, September 17, through Friday, September 22, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Martin Road to Miller Road for drainage work beginning Wednesday, September 20, through Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from the End of Passing Lane to Mount Bullion Cutoff Road for drainage work beginning Monday, September 18, through Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5- 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
