MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49), SR132, and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign work beginning Monday, December 11, through Thursday, December 14, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, December 15, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 132
• One-way traffic control from Old Highway 49 to State Route 49 / Coulterville for drainage work beginning Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 15, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Foresta Road for utility work beginning Monday, December 11, through Friday, December 15, 2023, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, December 10, through Friday, December 15, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, December 10, through Friday, December 15, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
