One-Way Traffic Control This Week

MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Smith Road to the SR-140/SR-49 junction for utility work beginning Monday, November 13, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at the SR-140/SR-49 junction to Coulterville for drainage work beginning Wednesday, November 15, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Brice Burg for shoulder work beginning Sunday, November 12, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Brice Burg to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, November 12, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Foresta Road for utility work beginning Monday, November 13, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Old Yosemite Highway for shoulder work beginning Tuesday, November 14, through Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from 6th Street to 12th Street for utility work beginning Tuesday, November 14, through Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
