MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign/banner work beginning Monday, November 6, through Wednesday, November 8, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Brice Burg for shoulder work beginning Sunday, November 5, through Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Brice Burg to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, November 5, through Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
