One-Way Traffic Control This Week

MARIPOSA COUNTYThe California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49
• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign/banner work beginning Monday, October 23, through Thursday, October 26, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Varain Road to Stockton Creek Road for utility work on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 2:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

State Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Midpines to Briceburg for shoulder work beginning Sunday, October 22, through Friday, October 27, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Brice Burg to El Portal Road for shoulder work beginning Sunday, October 22, through Friday, October 27, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, October 23, 20232, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from State Route 49/North to Slaughterhouse Road for drainage work on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Triangle Road for drainage work on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
