MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, January 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Triangle Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, January 7, through Friday, January 12, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, January 7, through Friday, January 12, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
