One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

MARIPOSA COUNTYThe California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-49 (SR-49), SR132, and SR-140, for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign/banner work beginning Monday, November 27, through Thursday, November 30, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, December 1, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 132

• One-way traffic control from Old Highway 49 to State Route 49 / Coulterville for drainage work beginning Monday, November 27, through Thursday, November 30, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, December 1, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Midpines to BriceBurg for pavement work beginning Monday, November 27, through Friday, December 1, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from BriceBurg to El Portal Road for construction work beginning Monday, November 27, through Friday, December 1, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from South Incline Road to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Monday, November 27, through Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Full lane/highway closure with traffic breaks at Whitlock Road for utility work on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
