MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work. Work begins Sunday, January 5, through Friday, January 10, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is to take place as above but is subject to change. This can be due to traffic incidents, weather, equipment/material availability, and construction-related issues.
