MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will take place as follows:
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from the beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to SR-49 for pavement work. The work begins Sunday, September 8, through Monday, September 9, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. It continues Tuesday, September 10, through Friday, September 13, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work will take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
