MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-132 (SR-132) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 132
• One-way traffic control from East of Mahoney Gulch to State Route 49 Junction for drainage work. Work begins Monday, June 24, and continues through Thursday, June 27. Timing will be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, June 28, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Catheys Valley Park to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 23. Will continue through Monday, June 24, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Also, Tuesday June 25, through Friday, June 28, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Briceburg for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 23. Work will continue through Friday, June 28, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 23. Work will continue through Friday, June 28, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 23. Work will continue through Friday, June 28, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
