MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-132 (SR-132)
and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 132
• One-way traffic control from East of Mahoney Gulch to State Route 49 Junction for drainage work beginning Tuesday, June 4, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to State Route 49 North for utility work beginning Sunday, June 2, through Monday, June 3, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday June 4, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Briceburg to South Fork Merced River for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 2, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Foresta Road for electrical work beginning Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from South Fork Merced River to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, June 2, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign and banner work on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Miller Road to Hummingbird Lane for shoulder work beginning Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Colorado Road to Bull Creek Road for electrical work beginning Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Bull Creek Road to Slate Gulch for electrical work beginning Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5–10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is set to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
