One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for sign work beginning Monday, February 26, through Thursday, February 29, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, March 1, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Joe Howard Road for utility work beginning Saturday, March 2, through Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control at the north State Route 49 junction for utility work beginning Monday, February 26, through Friday, March 1, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
