MARIPOSA — A message from the Mariposa Community Foundation (MCS): The survivor victims of the Oak Fire continue to walk the long road to recovery. For many people, the start of that recovery includes acquiring access to basic necessities, including electricity to their wells for water, temporary housing for shelter, and the physical placement of water tanks.
The Mariposa Community Foundation, together with several other agencies, has been able to help 78 families to acquire supplies and basic necessities to date. However, other agencies providing support to Oak Fire survivor victims are now depleted of funds. The MCF continues to provide financial support to survivor victims in need and continues to accept generous donations for this purpose.
