OAKHURST — The Oak Creek Intermediate Parent Teacher Club ensures that field trips, choir, science and physical education remain part of their student’s learning experience, by raising the money that has been cut from their budget.

The OCI PTC is holding its annual Spaghetti Dinner, Silent Auction and Scholastic Book Fair on Friday, Oct. 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the OCI campus in Oakhurst.A delicious Italian themed dinner of homemade spaghetti and sauce, salad, rolls, drink and dessert will be cooked by staff and volunteers in the cafeteria kitchen and served by OCI Leadership students.

Tickets for this festive event are available at the door: $7 for adults, and $5 for grade 8 and under. All proceeds benefit the kids.

The mission of the OCI PTC is to provide support for students and teachers, and funds for valuable educational programs that have been eliminated from the core budget.

OCI’s Spaghetti Dinner night offers guests the chance to bid in a Silent Auction of donations from great places like Disneyland, Activision, great restaurants and many donors on the mountain and in the valley.

Each class traditionally prepares a valuable gift basket for the silent auction, and a Scholastic Book Fair is set up so diners may enjoy a full range of shopping with their social evening.

The menu is also available “to-go.” Buon Appetito!

OCI campus located at 40094 Indian Springs Rd in Oakhurst.
