Music on the Green Presents Home Tonight & Little Tiger

MARIPOSA–One of Mariposa’s longest-standing community programs, Music on the Green features free, live concerts every Friday and Saturday of the summer at the Mariposa County Art Park. Produced by Andy Roberts and the Mariposa Arts Council, the Green supports both local and traveling musicians from all genres and draws visitors and residents alike to Mariposa’s vibrant, historic downtown community.

This weekends featured music guests are Home Tonight and Little Tiger.

Home Tonight

Home Tonight is a Mariposa-based duo featuring one of Mariposa’s favorite musicians, Gail Dreifus on guitar and vocals. Gail is one of Mariposa’s most active and steadfast musicians. She has has been writing, teaching, and performing music in our community for several decades. Joining her on keyboards is Mariposa transplant and sound engineering guru David Budries. David is also no slouch when it comes to writing, signing and performing songs.

Little Tiger

Little Tiger is a new wave / synth-pop duo. It features Alex Vance on synth and vocals, and Ava Burns on guitars and beats. Contrasting electronic rhythms with lush synthesizers and chorus-drenched guitar hooks, Little Tiger’s emotional soundscape reflects their love of The Cure, Joy Division and Depeche Mode. Their emotionally astute lyrics celebrate the divergent and nonconforming, blending defiance, a call for community and connection, and unadulterated joy. Find out more at www.littletiger.band
