My name is Charles Brady. I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to enhancing education on the Bass Lake School Board.
I have concerns that over 50 percent of students within the district are not reaching minimum proficiency in core subjects. Our district suspension rates are almost double the state average.
My skills and perspectives, I believe, will help our district overcome these challenges.
I have extensive experience as a first responder, and a retired utility worker. Currently, I am also a leader in my community. As a result, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to the safety and education of our children.
My career as a first responder has ingrained in me the importance of safety and preparedness. These are crucial elements in creating a secure learning environment for our students.
As a retired utility worker and former leader of a utility construction crew, I have honed my leadership and problem-solving skills, enabling me to approach challenges with practical and effective solutions.
Currently I serve as a music and group leader, supporting community outreach for recovery and personal growth. These roles are strengthening my ability to listen and collaborate. These skills help me advocate for the needs of others, especially our youth.
As a father and grandfather I am deeply invested in the well-being and educational success of all children. I am passionate about fostering a safe, healthy and quality educational environment where every student can thrive.
