Mosquitoes are more than just an annoyance; they can transmit diseases and other illnesses. Please take advantage of this awesome opportunity to help eradicate them.

Mariposa County to Distribute Mosquito Fish

MARIPOSA Mariposa County Environmental Health is preparing for this year’s mosquito fish distribution. Mosquito fish, also known as Gambusia affinis, are an excellent and natural way to control mosquito larvae without having to resort to dangerous chemicals or insecticides. A large female mosquito fish is capable of devouring hundreds of mosquito larvae in a single day.
