Mack Really Needs A Home Today

OAKHURST — The EMC SPCA just reached out with a request for everyone to be on the lookout for a home for one special guy.

A couple of weeks ago, they say, in the middle of a rainstorm, Mack found a house with a friendly person to take him in. The dog’s owner had passed away and her daughter reportedly had given Mack to a man in front of a grocery store. Somehow, according to the EMC SPCA, Mack got away and the new owner could not be found, which is how he ended up at a stranger’s in the rain.

Meanwhile, Elder Paws in Fresno agreed to take Mack for a couple of weeks, but time has run out and they have not found a forever home for him, says the EMC SPCA.

“Elder Paws is willing to pay for care, including vet care, for Mack for his final years. He has medical history at Oakhurst Vet. He is 11 years old, neutered, and seems to be in good health.”

We hear he is a good boy who deserves a place where he can be warm and loved.

“If you have room in your heart for Mack, please call the EMC SPCA adoption line at (559) 683-1266, extension 2, and leave your name and phone number, and Pat will contact you.”

This is urgent, they say, and ask that someone please help Mack if they can.
