OAKHURST – A day spa in Oakhurst has been offering everyone the opportunity to look and feel younger and healthier for the past half-dozen years.
Dream Faces came into being when Ginny Burke began searching for a healthy treatment alternative for her sun-damaged skin. That’s when she discovered micro-current natural facelift technology. After seeing the amazing results, Burke said she thought others would benefit from the same treatments she’d had.Dream Faces offers a “Body System” for muscle-toning and inch-loss, along with LED light therapy for the face and body and a variety of facials and peels, customized for each client’s skin type.
As a licensed aesthetician in the state of California, Burke continuously keeps up on the latest science and trends in her field, and furthers her education by attending clinics and seminars that advance her knowledge of skin care and holistic healing.
She says the main benefit of her work is “Offering safe alternatives to invasive treatments for anti-aging that really can transform your face and body; all in a nurturing setting where the client’s comfort and needs are always met.”
Can just one session make much of a difference?
“Yes, sometimes quite dramatically, for both face and body,” Burke said. “Everyone is different and some receive the micro current and LED. light therapy more rapidly than others. The face and skin always show an improvement. The body can have a 2-to-4-inch loss in just one visit, again dependent on individuals’ health and metabolism. If you’re looking for just one word, it’s a definite ‘yes.’”
Dream Faces now has two locations. Burke shares her original salon space, opened in 2006 in Oakhurst, with her husband, Pat, of Pat’s Hairworks. Her Fresno location is at Muses Spa and Wellness, 8525 North Cedar Ave.
Burke invites everyone to join her “in an atmosphere of privacy, relaxation and quiet nurturing for a special restorative time set aside just for you.”
This holistic, anti-aging spa at 40761 Highway 41 in Oakhurst is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The Fresno location is open Tuesday and Thursday.
