Leslie Foley: A New Era for the Mariposa Fair

MARIPOSA– The Mariposa Fair Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the promotion of Leslie Foley to Chief Executive Officer of the 35-A District Agricultural Association I Mariposa Fair, effective January 1, 2025.

Leslie brings a dynamic combination of creativity, strategic expertise, and visionary leadership to this pivotal role. With over 16 years of employment at the fairgrounds, Leslie exemplifies the values that define the Mariposa Fair.

Leslie’s dedication to our fairgrounds, coupled with her forward-thinking approach makes her the ideal choice to guide us into an exciting future,” said Tom Williams, Chair of the Mariposa Fair Board.

Tom continues, “We are confident that her leadership will help us achieve new milestones while preserving the cherished traditions that make the Mariposa Fair so special to our community.”

The first annual Mariposa County Fairy took place in October 1939.

As CEO, Leslie will oversee the Fair’s ongoing operations and cultivate partnerships. Leslie will also work to enhance the fairground’s impact as a regional cultural and economic hub. Her leadership will build on the Mariposa Fair’s legacy while driving growth and innovation for years to come.
